CardSpace Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-08-04
1. Overview
CardSpace is a flashcard app for study and vocabulary learning. This policy explains what information CardSpace processes and how it is used.
2. Data You Provide
You may provide study content such as decks, cards, notes, and optional imported files. If you sign in, your authentication provider may send account identifiers to CardSpace.
3. How Data Is Stored
By default, study data is stored locally on your device. If you use sync features, CardSpace sends selected app data to the configured backend so you can restore or sync your progress across sessions.
4. Why Data Is Processed
- To provide flashcard study features and progress tracking.
- To support sign-in and account sessions when enabled.
- To sync your data to your selected backend endpoint when you request sync.
- To keep the app secure and troubleshoot service issues.
5. Sharing
CardSpace does not sell personal information. Data is shared only with services required to operate requested features (for example, authentication and sync infrastructure).
6. Data Retention
Local data remains on your device until you delete it. Synced data is retained by the backend service until deleted through your account or support request.
7. Your Choices
- You can clear app data from your device at any time.
- You can sign out in the app.
- You can request account and server-side data deletion using the steps on theDelete Accountpage.
