Delete Your CardSpace Account

If you used CardSpace with sign-in and sync enabled, you can delete your account and all synced data at any time.

Request deletion by email

  1. Send an email to support@cardspace.org.
  2. Use the subject line: "CardSpace account deletion request".
  3. Include the login provider and account email used in CardSpace.

What gets deleted

  • Account identifiers stored for authentication.
  • Synced app data stored on the backend for your account.
  • Active session metadata linked to your account.

What is not automatically deleted

  • Data stored locally on your device. Remove this by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.
  • Records that must be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, or security requirements.

Processing time

Email-based deletion requests are typically completed within 30 days. In-app deletion is immediate.
